Saturday's Life...

Since mid-August of this year I've been making changes to my diet. I've dropped these items off of my regular consumption: eggs, beers, almost no meat either fresh or packaged and most dairy products. The exclusions are: canned tuna, non fat Greek and regular yogurt, fish and lean chicken tender loins. I use mayo with my tuna. I've been using "I can't believe it's not butter" instead of regular butter. Sparkled water has become a staple in substitution of beer. It goes without saying that white sugar is completely out of the picture. I use Stevia instead, also maple syrup. So, what am I eating? Mainly starches, such as rice and beans, potatoes, yams, oats, grits, whole wheat bread, quinoa and couscous among others. Part of the cast are fruits and vegetables either fresh or frozen. I am also eating nuts, eggs substitutes, red wine, coffee, dark chocolate and water. The main goal is to mainly eat more plant based. It is also knows as "flexitarian...
